My little story...
I am the grandson of a carpenter and cabinetmaker born in 1903 who lived through the 20th century, evolving with it. From small furniture in his youth in the '20s to the "Stella radio" tube radio boxes of the '30s, he further evolved by building all kinds of furniture intended for everyday life, from the kitchen to the room, even coffins!
From 1950 and various requests for the restoration of old furniture, he moved towards copying Louis But the workshop, its machines and its tools were still there and still running!
It is this timeless man that I venerate like a monument who taught me the essentials and passed on his passion in the 80s. As a child, it was in the family workshop, at the end of his garden, that I spent the most of my vacations while my parents worked. Without realizing it, part of his immense know-how was passed on to me until his death in the 1990s. My father, as passionate as he was, took over. After 20 years, not feeling destined to make it my career, I took a different path. But....
