Maintenance and precautions

Wood is a living and sensitive material. All my objects are made of solid wood, wood that I dry for several years before working on it.

However, to avoid or otherwise limit the risk of yellowing, deformation or cracking, it is advisable to avoid strong variations in temperature or humidity. It does not like water even if it is protected against it but above all do not immerse it to clean it. Also avoid, if possible, placing it near a heat source or exposing it directly to sunlight in summer.

For maintenance, he likes to be fed. Soak a cloth with a little linseed oil once a year, making sure to wipe off the excess to restore its shine.

My finishes are made with oils, I do not recommend using wax.
